Then they might be able to grow, enjoy the game and maybe spend some money. This would stop the players with billions of power attacking players with a few million power. The game needs a rule, like you can't attack another player that has less than 50% of your total power or a tier system based of power. There are no rules in this game, which allow the big players to constantly attack and farm the small players. People who usually write those kind of reviews aren't patient enough to play a game like this and feel the need to buy speed ups with real money.ĭon't bother with this game unless you have plenty of money to spend and then you might as well go outside and burn it, as it won't help you get anywhere in this game. If you want to speed things up by using real money that's really your choice but it's not necessary. but they are generous with handing out their gold as long as you participate in the events and some of the things can be bought in alliance shops which really, is all you need.
Some people have said that this game is a shamelessly pay to play kind of game in the fact that it costs quite a bit for their speed ups, etc. The text editing has been implemented, alliance relations included and a note from the developers have said that we're going to have 2 cities soon so I'm hoping that means more troops, defences and resources. I think what I love most about this game is that the developer's are constantly listening to what people have to say and trying to implement their ideas and always trying to improve the game!!! There’s many times where people couldn’t log into the game and have missed out on infected leaders but they do nothing. It’s too hard for new players to build up their cities.Įmber is appalling for customer service. If I started the game as a new player right now, I’d probably quit after a week too. Looking around the game you see hundreds of dead cities where people have build them up and then have been wiped out so they’ve quit. They definitely need a power system where the big players can’t attack the small ones. It is possible to not spend money but it becomes a lot harder that way and more time consuming. I’m now a fairly big power player who does spend money from time to time and I agree with other reviews, you do need to spend every now and again or the top players will just come through and destroy months or even years of gameplay you’ve put into your city within minutes. I’ve been playing this game for 5 years right from the start so I’ve seen every change in this game. If it would let me I would give it 0 starsĮMBER IS THE WORST GAME MAKERS EVER!!!!!!! If you do play this game DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON IN GAME PURCHASES if you are not one of their chosen few you will be discriminated against So they in essence gave regions 28 and 30 the advantage of not having to compete against the other 2 regions and they won all the gifts. For example they just finished a real big event on the Memorial Day weekend that included a 24 hr power event which gave an epic leader and had an OPS event that gave another epic leader all great but in Region 29 and 31 you were not able to sign on to the game for the final 23 hours of the event but the other 3 regions could. They have favorites and they give them unfair advantages and the ones that complain about it are treated very unfairly. They have constantly went down hill since they were sued by other game makers for stealing ideas. I have played the game from the start and at first it was a fun game to play but after playing for so long I have come to realize that ember is the worst game maker ever. What ever you do do not spend any money on this game!!!!!
